Hebron Sunday School
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me
And do not hinder them, for to such belongs the
Kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew ch.
19 v.14 ESV)
Hebron Sunday School meet at 11:30 am every Sunday morning and is open to all children from the age of three.
At the present moment the majority of the children belong to members of the church at Hebron.
However, we encourage children from the local community to join us
The first part of the Sunday School is combined with the Adult class meeting in the
church school room.
We open in prayer, then sing hymns and action songs with the children.
The group is then split. The
adult class goes into the main church and the children's Sunday School remains in the School room.
The children gather together for either a Bible story or a Bible related story before dividing up into classes appropriate to the age of the children. Children use Bible
activity books which tell the Bible stories and activities again appropriate to the age group.
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and teach that the whole of the Bible is true.
All the teachers in the Sunday School have been C.R.B checked and have many years experience working with children.
