Hebron Friday Nighters
Jesus said to his disciples,
“ Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”
(Matthew Ch.28 v.19-20 ESV)
Hebron Friday Nighters is a meeting held for
young people between the ages of 11 – 15.
The meeting is held normally in the
church school room each Friday night commencing at 7:30pm and finishing about 8:45pm.
The
young people from the local community are joined by some teenagers from Rhymney Evangelical Church who come with their own
youth leader.
The young people have quizzes on a variety of subjects including the Bible. Each week games are arranged by one of the leaders of the
youth group and another of the leaders would prepare/take a craft activity.
Every week someone will present the Gospel to the group either through a talk or combining a talk with a
PowerPoint presentation.
We believe the Word of God found in the Bible to be completely true.
Usually once a month the children are taken on an activity night.
This may be a walk, playing ten pin bowling, swimming, etc.
All of the children would have been given consent forms for
parent/guardians to sign before embarking on an outdoor activity.
