Eternal life is defined not in quantity but the real essence is its quality. It is to know God. We think of it as beginning at death, but it begins at conversion. It is our delight to know God, and this delight can never be exhausted because His worth cannot be exhausted. We can have a God of our imagination who approves of the things we approve of. That is not knowing God but knowing about ourselves. Are we growing in the knowledge of God individually and as a church?
