At the Name of Jesus Every Knee Shall Bow
Judah is the first of Jacob’s sons in this passage to receive a blessing. He had confessed his sins and became merciful and compassionate. Christians are not chosen by merit. Judah will conquer like a lion, and to be a Christian is to always be a conqueror. Judah would be prosperous, and believers also come into riches; not material, but spiritual blessings. There will always be a king in Judah, which points to the Lord Jesus, who will receive the tribute that is due to Him: the obedience of all people.
