Citizens of Heaven
Bible Text: Philippians 3:20a | Preacher: James Allan | Series: Philippians | A citizen of Philippi was also a citizen of Rome. Paul tells the church they are citizens of heaven. He had been warning about false teachers, and contrasts citizenship of this world where all that matters is the here and now. To follow Christ is to be a citizen of heaven now, not just in the future. The citizen of heaven is saved from death and judgement because Christ has paid the price for their sin.
NOTE: This sermon was part of a pre-recorded video service for the church to watch at home due to the coronavirus outbreak. The original video including recorded Hebron congregational singing and a children’s talk can be found here.
