The Jews’ rejection of Jesus made them like branches cut off of an olive tree. Other wild olive shoots have been grafted in. These are the gentiles. This is not a reason for pride; there should be fear lest it is anything other than faith in Christ that makes them think they are accepted by God. He will cut off those who do not believe.
