Jesus gives two ingredients for prayer. He tells the disciples to have faith in God. With God the impossible becomes possible. He has not promised riches or deliverance from every trial, but He has promised us strength. We also come with forgiveness. Prayers that do not come from a forgiving heart are not heard. How can we expect mercy when we withhold it from others?
