Bible Text: 1 John 2:28-3:9 | Preacher: Steve Darby | Series: Christmas 2018 | What are our hopes for the coming year? If we want hope we need Christ. The Bible speaks of a certain hope. Our hope is anchored to the Son of God coming into the world and to His resurrection. A Christian’s hope is Christ-centred. It is not something we have within ourselves. It is a characteristic hope. If we belong to the family of God we ought to expect to show the characteristics of that family.
