I Will be Made Well
Bible Text: Mark 5:21-34 | Preacher: James Allan | Series: Mark | Jairus and the woman are different in status. Jairus was a ruler in the synagogue. The woman was ceremonially unclean due to her discharge of blood; her whole life constrained by rules and regulations. However, they are similar in their desperation. God brings us low so that we seek Him. The woman has a certainty that she will be made well; people were healed when they touched Jesus. According to the purity laws, if somebody touched her they would also be unclean. Jesus takes our impurity upon Himself. Only He can make us well.
