Things were deteriorating in sinful Judah, and Jeremiah is in prison for offending the king. God tells him to buy a field in enemy territory. Humanly speaking it was madness, but we see Jeremiah’s obedience and faith. God had promised to bring back His people after the exile. The world declares the church’s day is over, but Christians believe the promises of God. Do we believe there is nothing too hard for God?
