Our Treasure, Our Vision and Our Master
Jesus gives three pictures about money. Firstly, the picture of treasure. We get what we want but something else soon comes along and the excitement fades. Secondly, He speaks of the eye; if we have a good eye we will not see this world as the most important thing. Thirdly, He says we cannot serve two masters. We think we are in control of our money but we become enslaved by it. Whatever stirs our affections is our god.
