Luke records three of Paul's missionary sermons in Acts, the first here in Pisidian Antioch. The sermon can be broken down in different ways. Some suggest three helpful sections: Exposition of the historical narrative (Paul roots his sermon in the history of Israel; nobody can say this is Christians rewriting the past); Proclamation of the gospel (Paul makes it clear that it is a central point of the message of the Old Testament); and Conclusions to be drawn (our eternity rests on our response to the message; even the negative response to the gospel is a fulfilment of the Word of God).
