Bible Text: Acts 8:26-40 | Preacher: Alun Johnson | God loves us. Philip is sent into the desert for just one individual whom the Lord had set His love upon. There is rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents. God is not just remotely interested in us but He loves us. We can love God in return. The eunuch believes the good news and asks to be baptized. He is obeying Christ right from the start. Obeying Him in our daily lives is part of loving God in return.
