We Shall be Saved
Paul's emphasis is on the certainty of the completion of the salvation of every believer. We are already justified, but there is a future judgement. Paul argues from the greater to the lesser; because the greater thing is true, the other will come to pass. We are justified by Christ's blood; that's the costly part. We must persevere and be faithful in this life, but its trials are nothing compared to our future glory.
