Who can save us?
Bible Text: Mark 6:30-56 | Preacher: Trystan Hallam | Mark’s gospel is full of people calling out for help. The account of Jesus walking on the water proves we can’t save ourselves. We don’t naturally know why we need to be saved. The crowd wanted to make Jesus king to save them from the Romans but He had come to save people from sin and judgement. The disciples were in great difficulty in the storm and our own strength is not great enough to deal with the problem. Only Jesus can save us. We have to cry out to Him and He has promised to answer us. He could have been their king without going to the cross but He disperses the crowd and goes to the cross instead.
