Jesus looked ordinary but brought glory to the Father, even in the ugliness of the cross. He now asks for a different kind of glory, resuming His former outward glory that had been veiled in His humanity. We see His worth in the resurrection; He willingly went to the cross and is now vindicated and sits down; His sacrifice is enough. All things are put under His feet; there is no circumstance He will not ultimately work for the good of His people.
