David's psalm here shows the paradox of the believer. He was an adulterer and murderer, yet says he is clean. We are painfully aware of our sin but one day God will declare us good and faithful. David lists his exploits but interspersed with praise for What God has given him, allowing him to overcome. God will likewise deliver us. The final verse points to the future prospect of the believer: Jesus reigning forever.
