Paul prays that the Ephesians may know what are the riches of God's glorious inheritance. Riches are what's ahead, in contrast to riches on earth that don't last. People are quickly forgotten. The glorious inheritance will be our sharing God's glory! Our sins hurt others but on that day we will sin no more. An inheritance is a gift, and salvation is by Grace; we have not earned it. This inheritance is "in the saints"; we will be gathered with the great company of God's people.
