Paul prays that his readers would know the immeasurable greatness of God's power. The Christian life is difficult but there is power and strength for the journey. We are in a battle with the world, the flesh and the devil. We know the pull of the world and how cowardly we are but there is a power at work in us. It is the same power that brought Christ from death to life and seated Him at the right hand of God! Even Paul felt his need for this power. We need to ask for it every day; Jesus promises it to us.
