At Hebron on Friday, 6th March at 7:30pm, Alun Ebenezer will be presenting “A Powerful Personality, A Mighty Voice: John Elias, Wales’ Greatest Preacher”.
John Elias was born near Pwllheli in 1774 and became a Methodist minister, serving on Anglesey. He has been described as the greatest Welsh preacher, and an estimated 10,000 attended his funeral in 1841. Come along to learn more about his life and work.
Hebron’s Welsh Night is a free annual service on or around St. David’s Day, presenting a different topic from Welsh church history. The service is conducted in English.
